Highways expertise across the region.
Highways & Civils
PGR Construction has a strong and growing highways, civils and structures capability, with a track record of delivering major highway safety improvements, sustainable cycle routes, structure improvements/replacements, drainage systems and site preparation works. Whether it’s a multi-million-pound infrastructure scheme or essential minor works, we bring the same level of expertise, safety standards, and commitment to getting it done right.
What sets us apart is our collaborative approach to partnership working. We integrate seamlessly with principal contractors, supply chain partners, local authorities, and communities to ensure projects run smoothly with minimal disruption. Our experienced highways civils team, led by dedicated directors and contracts managers, understands the complexities of working on live sites, managing tight timescales, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Many highways projects need to be delivered with minimal disruption to road users. PGR’s team has extensive experience of night working, contraflow management and live traffic environments developing and organising programmes to maximise productive time while keeping roads safe and accessible for all users.
Our highways works are underpinned by our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. Our operatives hold the appropriate CSCS, CPCS and NPORS cards and are trained in traffic management to the relevant Lantra and NRSWA standards.
