Based in Oundle, we work across Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and the surrounding region, and our understanding of local planning requirements, supply chains and building traditions is something clients consistently tell us makes a real difference.
Many of PGR’s most valued projects take place in schools, churches and other buildings that must remain open throughout the works. This requires careful planning, excellent communication and a site team that genuinely understands the importance of minimising disruption. PGR Construction delivered a comprehensive refurbishment of Park Road Baptist Church in Peterborough city centre, including complete internal remodelling of the ground floor with new disabled access facilities, a full M&E package, and external works including a new access ramp and disabled parking provision. The project’s distinctive challenge was keeping the church fully operational throughout the works, with the site team carefully coordinating access each week for the Monday homeless meals service, Wednesday food bank, and Sunday worship.
